Certified OBM® and Certified Online Business Manager® are registered and/or pending trademarks of the International Association of Online Business Managers (IAOBM) in the U.S. and around the world. These designations may only be used by one who has become certified through the International Association of Online Business Managers.
The process to become a Certified OBM is twofold:
- Take your training with one of our Accredited Training Partners
- Successfully complete the Certification Week process offered solely through the International Association of Online Business Managers.
Upon successful completion of (1) your training program, and (2) Certification Week, you are awarded the designations Certified OBM® and Certified Online Business Manager® and given permission to use them as outlined by the IAOBM.
There are training programs that may be offering certificates of completion (in some form), badges, and/or general certification in an OBM-related capacity. These programs are not endorsed by or affiliated with the IAOBM.
Please note that, unless the program is offered by the IAOBM, or one of the association’s accredited training partners, they are not able to award you the designation of Certified OBM or Certified Online Business Manager in any fashion. If you use these designations and were not trained by an accredited training partner, you are in contravention of trademark law and may be subject to legal proceedings.
