Hot damn this is a cool little tool.

I was thinking the other day… “I wish that I had a copy of the old CoachVille.com homepage. The original one that Thomas did”… but alas I figured it was gone into the ethers of the internet past.

Not so. Enter www.WayBackMachine.org

These guys take a snapshot of the entire world wide web once a month. So you can go back in time to see what certain pages looked like months and years ago.

Not only is this just for fun (anyone want to see my old coaching website? doh!)… it is also a useful tool to track the evolution of some of your favorite sites. If you like someone’s sales letter webpage, you could go back and track the different tweaks and changes they made along the way…

Here is the CoachVille homepage from February 2003.

I’m going to use this tool for some website before and afters that im doing with Susan Austin in the near future.

Enjoy!

Am trying to access info from sites archived in the waybackmachine archives, but find the data I can actually access to be limited. Is there a way to retrieve more by working directly with the organization? Who can I contact? Can I call them? Phone Number?

Thank you
