We all know that referrals are one of the best ways to market yes?
But getting referrals can be easier said than done… Not only can it be hard/uncomfortable to ask people for referrals, you also need to have a system in place that makes it easy for people to refer to you.
Tell A Friend Pro is a great online tool to facilitate referrals. It is super easy to use and affordable at just $97.
Like any good software, it is only as effective as you make it. So here are a few ways that you can use Tell A Friend Pro (TAFPro for short) to get referrals and get people to your website.
Add TAFPro to your Thank You Pages
Catch ’em while they are hot! If someone has just signed up for your newsletter or made a purchase from you they are hot, engaged with what you have to offer and liking it. This is a great time to ask for a referral by putting the tell a friend form on your thank you page.

Offer Something of Value in Exchange For a Referral
This is the same concept as offering someone a “goodie” in exchange for their email address when they visit your website. Instead of asking for their subscription in exchange for something, ask them to refer your ezine/service instead.
Jillian Middleton of www.MakeMoneyinMLM.com has a brilliant example of this strategy. When you sign up for her newsletter, you are instantly sent a copy of “5 Steps to Work Less and Make Money In MLM”. She gives you the first 3 steps, and then invites you to refer her to 3 other people (using TAFPro of course) to get immediate access to steps 4 & 5. Otherwise you need to wait til the next issue to get those steps. Of course, most of us want instant gratification so we happily refer 3 people to get access to steps 4 & 5 right away. Jillian added 45 people to her ezine in just one day using this strategy.
Isn’t that super cool?
Start an Online Contest
I haven’t seen this yet in action, but it is something that TAFPro is specifically designed to do. Start on online contest offering a “free drawing” for some of your products.
Let the contestants know that by entering the contest they’re also subscribing to your publication. On the contest entry form, include some boxes where the contestant can enter the names/emails of their friends — with the understanding that you’ll email their friends an invitation to visit your site and/or join the contest.
Grab your copy of Tell A Friend Pro now, tis a great tool.
