Hi Tina…. how do you define support team… which people would fit into that category in your mind.. Aeriol
As Chris Barrow likes to say, his support team takes care of “everything else”. He likes to write, coach & speak, and the team does the rest. Literally.
Now depending on how you run your business, you could have a team that does “everything else” or you could have a mix of stuff that you do and your team does. It’s up to you.
There are actually 2 types of people who fit into the “support team” category:
1. Dedicated
2. Project Based
Dedicated team members are those who have an ongoing position or responsibility within your business. This could be your Virtual Assistant that helps you with administrative tasks, or your bookkeeper who takes care of the numbers on a monthly basis. A dedicated person can be full time or part time, employee or contractor. As long as they have an ongoing role in your business I would consider them a part of the dedicated team.
Project Based team members would be people that you contract for various one time projects, such as doing transcripts or creating a web banner. They usually have a specialized area of expertise and work with a variety of clients. It is great to have a group of contractors for various things that you can call on as needed.
