Talking to a client this morning re: his website (www.InitiateSchool.com)… we are doing some updates to this site and im toying with the best way to share what “it” is all about (content, etc). So here’s an outline I came up with for a simple, quick website template:
1. Catchy headline or compelling questions – to hook the reader, something they can relate to (or not)
2. Tell a story/parable or do a “letter to the reader”, earn the right, give credibility to you and what you offer
3. Elevator Speech… what is is your offer:
– You know how some (the customer you are aiming at)…
– Experience (the problem)…
– Which means that (the outcome of the problem)…
– Well I do/can do is (your job/product/service)…
– Which means that (the solution)…
– The benefit of which is (the outcome of the solution)…
– Would you like to know more?
4. Your call to action to capture their information and get permission to continue contact – newsletter, bonus report, etc…
Its just that simple!
