I’m on the other side now – having transitioned from ‘being’ the OBM for clients to being the business owner who needs her own OBM. It’s a different world for sure, and I’d like to share with you what i’m learning along the way via a series of videos – this is the first one.

Way to go!!!!! That must have been a huge shift for you and the best way to walk your talk! Wishing you all the success in the world…you deserve nothing but the best!
Hey Tina –
I’m convinced you and I were separated at birth. Your journey (and video) is EXACTLY, almost word for word, what I am going through as well.
I have recently brought on my own Business Manager and your comment about letting them figure out the “how” is so dead-on.
My coach even said to me – Kristi, I know you are the “systems chick”, but why are you not having your business manager create your internal processes? Hmmm – probably because I am a control freak and truly never thought about that before.
Its nice to know I am not the only one going through this journey. Looking forward to going through it with you.
thanks Lori
and i hear ya Kristi – good to know i’m not the only control freak out there, LOL!
I love this video series Tina! Journaling your process is so beneficial to the OBM’s out there too
We need to be reminded it is much like a new mom leaving her child in childcare for the first time with the biz owner has to begin to step away from the how…
I am VERY proud of you!
Tiffany
Tina, this reminds me when one of my client’s told me a few years back, you need your own Virtual Assistant! I thought, wow, a Virtual Assistant needs a Virtual Assistant? Now, I have a few!!!
Good for you – love what you are doing for us OBM’s. Keep it up!
Amber
Tina this is great! As an aspiring OBM I’m so looking forward to what my client may be going through on the behind the scenes. This will be very helpful for me because I will be able to understand my clients needs and discomforts and find ways to ease them. Thank you so much Tina for helping all of us virtual professionals.
