Audio vs. Written

Curious on your thoughts here…

I’m working on info products for a few different clients and am playing around with whether to focus on audio products (mp3s online or CDs) or written products (eBooks, real books, etc). Or a mix of both!

Lately it seems to me that there is a bit of a trend toward audio… meaning that people seem to enjoy and get more value from an audio product that one that is written only.

For example, Chris Barrow’s Get your Year in Gear program is a mix of both. Members get a short audio clip along with a written elesson each week, and I think its a hit. The short audio clip from Chris seems to add that extra bit of a personal touch ya know?

What do you think? Do you have a preference for audio or written? Or would you prefer to get a bit of each?
