Thank you so much for sharing. I actually see more than one idea in what you came up with though. What do you think? 1) Expand what you offer (earlier opening) 2)Two heads brainstorming instead of one. 3)Offer something new (summer school) 4) And last, but not least, get some extra hands on deck with Tiffany's growth in taking over the calls.
This is an eye opener for me, because I would have taken you very literally and maybe just tried to come up with one new product, more work and no help.

Hey Joanne - happy to share.
I actually had a discussion with my OBM Tiffany, letting her know that i'd been issued this goal and that I had NO IDEA how we were going to make it. We put our heads together and decided that we could open up the OBM Certification Training program earlier than usual and offer a summer school training as well. Great idea, but I still didn't have time for all the applications calls that we do... Tiffany loves chatting with OBMs and so she asked if she could do some of the calls. I said yes, and it worked out beautifully. We met our revenue goal, Tiffany fell in love with doing these calls (she still does them today) and I got the lesson that I don't have to be the only one to do things in my business (which is a whole other story in and of itself, hehe.)

Tina,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It is definitely difficult to get from Thought #4 to #5. Sometimes I slip back into #3. - lol But your story of working through the fear is very motivational. Thanks for reminding me that the road isn't always easy, but you don't get anywhere new without moving/pushing through the fear.
