I am facing the same thing in the very near future. Before Christmas, one of my fuzzy feline friends was diagnosed with a couple of cancerous masses in his stomach. We are giving him lots of love and TLC and watching closely to make certain that he maintains a good quality of life. Hearing about Chuckles and seeing his picture brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat as the reality of what we are facing again hits home. And what a cutie Biscuit is! We always thought Chuck had some Maine Coon in him, such a beautiful breed of cat. (And being big cats why Chuck always weighed in around 20 pounds). I had to do the same to my beloved Biscuit, a gorgeous brown classic Maine Coon girl of sixteen years, in 2004. It was one of the hardest goodbyes I've ever had to make.
